Terms of service
These terms apply when a contractor hires Targetnect to book appointments. The proposal you sign sets the price and the number of appointments. These terms fill in the rest. Where the two differ, the signed proposal wins.
What we do
Targetnect calls property owners and managers in your service area, asks whether they need the kind of work you do, and when they do, books an appointment for you to visit and quote. We confirm the date, time, location, contact person, and what they need, and send those details to you.
What counts as a booked appointment
A booked appointment is a confirmed date and time with a property owner, manager, or their authorized representative who has told us they need a service you offer and has agreed to meet you. Each booked appointment is billable at the price in your proposal, currently $300.
If the contact cancels or does not show, tell us. We will work with them to reschedule the appointment.
Price and payment
- You pay the per-appointment price in your proposal. There are no setup fees, monthly fees, or minimums beyond the appointments you choose to prepay.
- Payment is by card through Stripe. Prepaid appointments are paid when you sign. Further appointments are billed as they are booked.
What you agree to
- Hold the licenses and insurance your trade and state require, and keep them current.
- Show up to booked appointments on time, or tell us at least four hours ahead so we can reschedule.
- Treat the people we introduce you to professionally. Complaints from property contacts may lead us to end the relationship.
- Use the contact details we give you only for the appointment we booked. Do not add them to marketing lists or share them with others.
- Give us accurate information about your trades, service area, and availability, and tell us when they change.
What we agree to
- Call only during reasonable business hours and identify ourselves honestly.
- Follow telemarketing law, including honoring do-not-call requests.
- Keep your pricing, customers, and business details confidential and never pass them to other contractors.
- Tell you promptly if an appointment changes or falls through.
What we do not promise
We book the meeting. Whether you win the job, and on what terms, is between you and the property. We do not guarantee any number of jobs, revenue, or outcomes, and we are not a party to any contract you sign with a property owner or manager. We rely on what contacts tell us about their needs, and we cannot guarantee that every description is complete or accurate.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the relationship
Either side can end this arrangement at any time by email. Appointments already booked remain billable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Changes apply to appointments booked after the change, not to appointments already booked or prepaid.
